OUR MISSION

Our mission is to coordinate existing resources and develop new ones to help break the cycle of return to incarceration. We work to remove or reduce barriers to successful reentry; ensuring motivated individuals are able to compete for jobs, attain stable housing, support their families, and contribute to their communities.

OUR HISTORY

Our objective is to increase public safety and reduce recidivism by providing assistance to individuals who have been released from prison or jail. We work to address community reintegration, family reunification, education, employment, healthcare and housing needs of the formerly incarcerated as well those who are justice-involved.

Re-Entry Solutions was founded in April of 2010 as a 501C3 non-profit organization.

Our primary focus is employment, housing, and family restoration. Re-Entry has provided services to over 1000 returning citizens by establishing a pipeline to employment with community partners, through conducting job readiness training, interviewing skills, internships and job placement.

WHAT WE DO

Re-Entry Solutions hosts a variety of job training and life skills seminars. Members learn how to compete for a job, attain stable housing, support their children and families, and contribute to their communities.

We serve individuals residing in Allen, Avoyelles, Catahoula, Evangeline, Grant, LaSalle, Natchitoches, Rapides and Vernon Parishes.

Re-Entry aims to align participants with post-release opportunities while reducing access to high-risk environments and behaviors. By setting achievable goals and including the clients support system, we will increase the likely hood of successful return. We aim to advance economic and social conditions in the region by implementing plans and processes to spur the growth of wealth, health and educational attainment of the justice involved.
